WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

Weight Management

 Y
ou’ve tried diets.  You’ve tried exercise.  But have you really made the internal changes that lead to external changes?

My Approach:  I believe that most dieters already know that they should exercise and eat healthily. That is not the problem. The problem lies in the way that they think about food and exercise, their emotional connections to food, and the difficulty they have in self-motivation.

To make long-term changes you can live with, you have to start with your BRAIN, not your plalte!

In Therapy You Will:
  • Identify your emotional obstacles to weight loss
  • Predict your challenges and circumvent them
  • Use rational responding to counter emotional eating
  • Motivate yourself daily
  • Make long-term, lifestyle changes
